Safety Tips From Being Strucked by Lightning
Assalamualaikum and Hello to our loyal readers.
Still on raya mood? - Hoping everyone are safe and sound enjoying the festive season still!
edition is on the safety tips from being strucked by lightning. As we
are all aware of the recent tragedies happened that involves lightning,
Inspectorate Unit RBAF feels that everyone needs to be reminded again on
the basic rules when dealing with situations with lightning and
thunder, and also since we are in the wet season of the year in Brunei
Certain facts that we all might or might not know ----> Lightnings is unpredictable. And did you know that, Lightning can travel and strike up to 10 miles away from rainstorms? YES,
this is a true fact! Why do incidents still happen with lightning? This
is because, we think that it is safe to be outside when we see the
lightning is far away from us. The truth is, ITS NOT!
Therefore, we should not take lightning and thunder lightly because the consequences can be a major one!
this months' poster can help remind everyone on the basic safety tips
from being strucked by lightning. Again we emphasise, IT IS NOT SAFE to be outside when there's lightning and thunder.
Until the next one, Be safe everyone!
